The Weber Workshops EPF (Espresso Paper Filter) is a premium filter designed in collaboration with Cafec Japan, specifically for espresso preparation. These filters are engineered to improve extraction by placing them under the coffee puck inside the portafilter. They help prevent the portafilter holes from clogging, allowing for more even water distribution, particularly at the bottom of the puck, which leads to a finer grind and higher extraction yield without extending the shot time.
