A dark chocolate that caters to those who favor high acidity in their chocolate. This bar is infused with jammy notes of plums, cherries, raisins, and sour green apples, offering a complex and vibrant taste experience.
The cocoa beans for this chocolate are sourced from Kokoa Kamili in Tanzania, a producer known for its quality and commitment. The processing station is situated in the small village of Mbingu, a remote location accessible by a twelve-hour journey through dusty roads from Dar Es Salaam. Svenska Kakao has been in partnership with Kokoa Kamili since 2016, ensuring a consistent supply of premium beans.
This chocolate’s unique flavor profile has been internationally recognized, earning a silver medal at the World Chocolate (WC) and a bronze medal at the European Chocolate (EC) categories in the International Chocolate Awards in 2018.

Svenska Kakao, founded by Ulrika and Fredrik Bergenkrans in 2013, stands as a pioneer in the Nordic bean-to-bar chocolate scene. The uniqueness of Svenska Kakao’s chocolate comes from Ulrika and Fredrik’s hands-on approach in selecting the finest cocoa beans worldwide. They focus on quality, sustainability, transparency, fair pricing, and exceptional taste. Crafted by a small team of skilled chocolatiers in their Österlen factory, their chocolates have garnered international acclaim, winning several prizes and being featured in star restaurants and prestigious department stores like Isetan in Tokyo, Lafayette in Paris, and KaDeWe in Berlin. Today, Svenska Kakao’s chocolates are available in 15 countries and various retailers across Sweden.
