Bottomless (naked) portafilter with a standard 58mm diameter.  The bottomless portafilter ensures that after being optimally pressed, the ground coffee is evenly saturated when brewing, resulting in an excellent crema.  The clear view also allows you to inspect the espresso extraction as it brews, making visible any clear or dark areas of extraction and possible signs of errors while preparing the puck.
