Great news for all the Kenyan coffee enthusiasts out there, Kurasu have a fresh new crop from Kenya! We had 2 kinds of AB last year, but for this year we chose AA. So, what do AA and AB mean- it signifies the screen sizes, meaning the size of the green beans, and it ranges from AA, the biggest, then AB, then C as it gets smaller. AA beans tend to be juicy and full of life, and AB beans are typically known for their delicate complexity- both beautiful trait in their different ways, but this Muthingini we’ve got this year has it all. As the temperature shifts, the cup reveals many different sides starting from the juicy, orange-like impression to a hefty, casis-like taste. And yes, it makes an amazing iced coffee- do try it out!
