Chocolate Makers introduces a delightful twist to their popular 30% milk chocolate by infusing it with crunchy speculaas pieces. Speculaas, a traditional Dutch biscuit, is known for its rich spiced shortcrust flavor, baked with a blend of aromatic speculaas spices. This unique combination of creamy Peruvian milk chocolate and the distinctive taste of speculaas creates an irresistibly indulgent treat. Perfect for those who love a fusion of smooth chocolate and the comforting, spicy crunch of classic Dutch biscuits.
Ingredients: sugar, cocoa mass, milk powder, cocoa butter, speculaas biscuits ((10%) flour, sugar, butter, buttermilkspices, carbon dioxide)), emulsifier (rapeseed lecithin). At least 43% cocoa solids. All ingredients are from organic cultivation. May contain traces of nuts. contain.
The bar weighs approx. 80 grams and is wrapped in greaseproof paper printed with bio ink.

Chocolate Makers source their organic and Fairtrade cocoa from the Awajun community, situated along the Cenepa and Rio Santiago rivers in the Amazon rainforest. The Awajun are part of the NorAndino cooperative, a significant organisation with about 5000 members, including 1800 cocoa farmers. These members are spread across northern Peru, encompassing both coastal and Amazonian regions.
In collaboration with NorAndino, Chocolate Makers are involved in a special project aimed at enhancing cocoa processing. NorAndino operates a substantial cocoa factory in Peru, larger and more advanced than Chocolate Makers’ Amsterdam facility, equipped with a modern production line dedicated to producing high-quality organic and Fairtrade cocoa mass. This partnership not only ensures superior cocoa quality for Chocolate Makers but also empowers NorAndino, paving the way for them to produce their own chocolate in the future.
