TL;DR get the Fellow Prismo instead.
My AeroPress Flow Control has issues with leaking through the bayonet mount, maybe a defect but the Fellow Prismo has a silicone ring on the supplied metal filter that ensures a perfect seal, and you can use paper filter over or under the included metal filter if you like.
The AeroPress Flow Control can be really hard to unscrew, especially if left to cool, as the grip poorly designed and doesn’t lend itself to 3rd party wrenches like the regular filter cap. Fellow Prismo has a better grip and also easier to unscrew.
AeroPress Flow Control is somewhat limited to the pressure you can apply when using only a paper filter without tearing the filter as its poorly supported. With optional metal filter this is not an issue but Fellow Prismo comes with the metal filter so no extra purchase necessary.
